A new category here at int main ( void ) tool of the day..

I'll start out tomorrow.
Am allready makeing a queue for the comming days..
I'll try to place an item here every day with some info on a command or tool..
There are so many GNU tools that I think I can do this for years to come..

I'll start with the GNU coreutils and slowly make my way thrue to more obscure commands and tools..

If you have suggestions for tools or commands to cover or perhaps have a story for this part of the site, feel free to use the comment feature..

The site is setup to place the new items weekdays at midnight CET.
I'll try and use fridays for specials..

Don't expect a tool every day.. I'm a lazy guy..
And I do have a life you know..

To indicate a command prompt I use the basic home user (~$) prompt.
~$

So hello world looks like this..
~$ echo 'Hello world !'
Hello world !

Option's i'll do in bold and also command names, like --version gives you the version and release date of man ..
And I might also show what it does..
~$ man --version
man, version 2.4.1, 07 September 2001
